The short version: Corely doesn't collect any data. It reads system statistics on your own Mac and shows them to you. Nothing is sent anywhere, ever.
What Corely does
Corely is a macOS menu bar app that displays CPU, memory, network, and GPU usage. It reads these values directly from macOS system APIs on your device and renders them in the app's menu bar dropdown.
What Corely collects
Nothing. Corely does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any data about you or your device. There is no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no advertising identifier, and no network request of any kind made by the app.
What Corely stores locally
Corely saves a small set of preferences on your Mac using Apple's standard UserDefaults system, so your settings persist between launches:
- Your chosen refresh interval (1, 2, or 5 seconds)
- Which metric is shown in the menu bar (CPU, memory, network, or icon only)
This information never leaves your device. It is not backed up to iCloud, not synced anywhere, and not accessible to anyone but you.
Accounts and sign-in
Corely has no accounts, no sign-in, and no user profile of any kind.
Third parties
Corely does not integrate with any third-party services, SDKs, or analytics providers.
Children's privacy
Corely does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect information from anyone.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a new "last updated" date.
